First Steps in Aevoria

Children aged 4 to 11. The story meets every Hero where they are, whether they’re a fearless four-year-old or a curious eleven-year-old.

The whole Adventure takes about 30 to 60 minutes to read together, and each chapter takes just 5 to 10 minutes, so you can read one at bedtime or the whole story in one sitting. The Hero’s Journal adds another 30 to 60 minutes of drawing, writing and remembering.

None at all. Every word is written for you to read aloud, and your child simply tells you what they want to do at each choice. The Living Story System™ guides you both, so there are no rules to learn. You can read it through once on your own first to get a feel for it, but you don’t have to.

The printed Adventure Book, First Steps in Aevoria, and its companion Hero’s Journal, both guided by The Living Story System™. You also get Coloring Sketches of the story’s scenes and characters, and Personalized Hero Art: a digital artwork inspired by your child and their choices, ready to download and print at home.

It’s a physical set. The Adventure Book and Hero’s Journal are printed and shipped to you, and we ship worldwide, with shipping calculated at checkout. Your Personalized Hero Art is the one digital part: it’s delivered as a download, ready to print at home.

The Monthly Subscription is $89.99 a month. Every month you get four new Full Adventures that continue the story, four Hero’s Journals, Personalized Hero Art and Coloring Sketches, plus two Side Quests, two Storyteller’s Playbook chapters and a Monthly Surprise. That’s $145+ in value every month, and you can cancel anytime.

Yes. Just enter the recipient’s address at checkout and we’ll ship it straight to them.

They don’t need to read a word. You read the story aloud, and your child listens, imagines and decides what the Hero does next. In the Hero’s Journal they can draw their answers as well as write them.
